Le Roys & Hinemoa Halo
Le Roys Bush and Little Shoal Bay reserve, found in the Le Roys and Hinemoa Halo, provide some of the best walking tracks in the North Shore. These tracks weave in and out of kauri forests and around the estuary.
The Halo area extends south of Onewa Road from Queen Street to Hinemoa Street. The reserves have been diligently preserved by a very active group of volunteers. If you like getting outdoors, socialising with the community and want to help preserve our wildlife then we would love to hear from you.
