We did it!

Our new home, Puāwai, is now open thanks to your help!

Pest Free Kaipātiki (PFK) is a community-led organisation connecting people to our local environment.

We are in awe of our volunteers and team members for their relentless mahi on restoring the urban ngahere (forests) of Kaipātiki and we finally have a place to call home - Puāwai at 3 Ross Avenue, Glenfield.

A huge thank you!

To everyone involved in making this happen. Hundreds of hours of volunteer help have made this possible.

This new facility can now accommodate all PFK staff under one roof. We want this to be a space where volunteers are inspired, trained and resourced to restore the local environment while connecting with their local community. There is space for running training and local reserve group meetings on site and room for our community Tool Shed, while also enabling us to invite other community groups to share this wonderful new community space.

We are now in the building but the work doesn't end there . . . we have exciting plans to develop the gardens at our new home base, we are putting the plans in motion and are keen to hear from people who would like to be involved with this stage of developing this exciting new space. If you'd like to be involved, get in touch and let us know.

We are excited about our new home. We want you to be too.

You can use PFK's new building for your community activities. Get in touch to find out more.
