Thank you to the amazing team at Naylor Love who worked so hard in Spinalla Reserve in Bayview.
They cleared an amazing 11 giant black composting bags of tradescantia and some ginger in just two hours!
Thank you to our awesome local residents Angela, Eric and the Pest Free Kaipaitki Team Members Fiona and Rob for coordinating the volunteers.
Pest Free Kaipatiki supplied kauri dieback cleaning stations, gloves, weed bags, tools and coordinated the groups. Naylor Love supplied an amazing group of people, a barbecue and toilet.
They are now looking to return to the reserve in March to assist with further weeding and start restoring the reserve with native planting.
