Meet our newest board member . . . Elizabeth Reid

Volunteering with PFK takes many forms and we are very appreciative of our PFK Board members who volunteer their time to provide the strategic governance which is so integral to any successful organisation.

Elizabeth has recently joined the PFK Board, bringing with her a wealth of experience which she talks a bit about below . . .

“Born in Christchurch, I have moved around a bit, but Kaipātiki feels like home. The environment here is incredible, built on the hard work of those who have been protecting our native spaces over the years.

I have a PhD in Protein Chemistry, and a broad career including Project Management, Innovation, Business Marketing and Strategy. Most recently I was the General Manager of the Synlait China team, and the Chair of the NZ Business Roundtable in China.

I found PFK when I was looking for ways to manage the weeds and rats on my own section and was very impressed by the work they do and the people who are part of the group. I am delighted to be on the PFK board to support the organisation, community and environment to flourish. “

We warmly welcome you to the PFK Board Elizabeth!
